As for Feats/ASI's I'd grab warcaster at degree four. Net will turn out to be your best Buddy at stage five to be a someone that desires to treatment more about Command than hurt. For leveling guaranteed plus the excursion might be great. I havent run the figures but I would guess that hunts end / pluck a string is probably 70% of your xbow damage
